Two Chairs No Waiting

We continue with part three of our interview with Dave & Marsha Scheuermann, owners and operators of The Taylor Home Inn up in Wisconsin. The feedback on these episodes from you, the listeners has been great and I hope that might translate into some of you visiting the Scheuermann’s bed and breakfast and stay in Andy’s room, Opie’s room, or maybe Aunt Bee’s room which they talk a little about in this episode.

Please tell folks about our show and don’t forget to share some comments or ask a question or two on the iMayberry.com/podcasts website or by using the contact information given in the podcast. I would love to have you be a part the show.

Really enjoyed these special Podcasts with Dave and Marsha. My wife Linda and I have been at the Inn seven times now. We have stayed in all three rooms, My favorite is Opie’s room because of all the nostalgic toys and games that are displayed throughout the room. I continue to marvel at the detail one finds within the Bed and Breakfast. On our last visit I was able to wear my Barney Fife uniform and interact with all the other guests. I agree with Dave’s comments about the courthouse. That is going to be just a great addition to the Inn. Guests should be aware that Marsha will not serve peanut butter and jelly sandwiches once those doors clang shut.

I look forward to visiting one day (hopefully soon).

Ken, I bet if you’re good, Marsha will throw some peanuts in the cell and you can jump up and down on them and make your own peanut butter. haha

They had good observations about Mayberry people – you do get an immediate friend, even if you’ve only met and may not see them ever again. Just good people.

I love the interviews. I wrote Eleonora and suggested they move the Inn to TN so it would be closer to all of us. HAHAHHAHA

This is such a treasure ! I am happy these folks were able to build their dream and the best part of it is making it a bed and breakfast. I could not think of many other ideas that would make such a perfect situation. When Mark Twain said something like this “Find a job that you like and you will never have to work a day in your life” — I think this is kinda of what he was talking about. I was out in Madison, Wisconsin a few years back for some training, probable before this was built I am sure. I may never get back that way but if I ever do, I will just have to spend the night there ! Great podcast ! I appreciate all of the attention to detail they have put into building this place. Great Job.
