Two Chairs No Waiting

Your fellow fans of The Andy Griffith Show have been writing and calling in to Two Chairs No Waiting for a while and we finally get to take some time to listen to their thoughts.

We also discovered some fun trivia on this episode about a pocket on Barney’s shirt that appears from nowhere.  I’m thinking that witchery  might run in Barney’s family.  Remember TCNW 62: The Magical Christmas Card and TCNW 86: Barney’s Magic Badge?  Both involved Barney.  And now THIS.  I tell you, something foul is afoot.

I hope you enjoy the show and thanks to all that provided feedback. I love hearing from you.

Good noticing on the pocket. When I first met Betty Lynn at Pigeon Forge, TN as she was signing a photo in my book “Mayberry Memories” she pointed out that in the photo she was signing that she was holding a cigarette between her fingers and that it had been airbrushed out of the picture. She said that back then “everybody smoked”.

The pocket noticing is a good catch. I think the most amazing thing is that one shirt that was identical was completly without a pocket at all. I have noticed from time to time that on occasions that Barney and Andy have something in their pocket while in uniform. I would imagine the reason for the continuity glich is from the nature of the one camera filming and the time lapse between filming scenes and the re setups for getting the close ups shots. But….the shirt with the pocket and the shirt without a pocket in the same scene is amazing! Good show, nice feedback from everyone
