Two Chairs No Waiting

Two Chairs No Waiting

Welcome to part two of our two part interview with the owner of The Snappy Lunch, Mr. Charles Dowell.

The focus of this episode is the world famous Pork Chop Sandwich and where the idea for serving it came from. As I’ve said before, if you’re ever in Mt. Airy be sure to have a pork chop sandwich “all the way” because, as Andy might say, “They’re gooooood!”

Recorded in April 1998 in the back room of The Snappy Lunch so you’ll here dishes, pots and pans knocking against one another as the workers get orders ready.

I want to thank you for listening.  Tell your Mayberry friends about the podcast if you are enjoying them.  And don’t forget to leave comments or ask some questions at iMayberry.com/podcasts or by using the contact information given in the podcast.
