Over the last few months, I have been surprised how many people don’t know about Mayberry related things that are out there for them to enjoy.  They don’t seem to be aware of The Andy Griffith Show Rerun Watchers Club, Mayberry related websites, and so many other things that I enjoy so much as a fan of The Andy Griffith Show.

I want to try and figure out some way to help make sure that people somehow find out that they are not alone out there in the world in their love of TAGS.  I feel like with all the joy I’ve gotten from Mayberry, it would be wrong not to try and spread that joy to others.   This week we’ll talk about some of the books that fans can have that I believe add to the fun and will bring a smile.

This was a really helpful and interesting episode! Those books are going on my birthday wishlist. My family loves to text each other TAGS trivia questions, and having some of those books on hand will definitely improve my family trivia score. 🙂

You asked listeners to share when they first found out about the podcasts or the websites….I’ve been following TAGSRWC since 2002 when I went to college. We weren’t allowed to watch TV or DVD’s in the dorms, and I found that the sites with all the daily quotes and information gave me a bit of home in that very lonely place! I downloaded those old .wav files and listened to them over and over, sitting at my laptop laughing and quoting along with it! My dad and I used to email each other one of the quotes each day, and sometimes I still hear a quote in an episode and see the typed version in my head.

Thanks for keeping Mayberry alive!
