Running time: 0:13:00

We had fun last week with Mayberry tribute artist Ken "Otis" Junkin (a.k.a. Big Maude) and I didn't want the fun to end.

This episode we get to hear a bit more from Ken but this time it's about his trip to Hollywood back in January 2000 to see Don Knotts get his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Episode 97 of Two Chairs No Waiting was devoted to the topic of Don Knotts' star and you'll want to go back and give that podcast a listen after you hear Ken's tale. Atta boy, Ken!

We'll also hear a short but fun story by tribute artist Christie McLendon who fills the role quite well of Charlene Darling Wash's daughter, all growed up, Andylina. You should remember Andylina. The baby version of her was betrothed to Opie Taylor but some witchery on Andy's side of the family broke off the betrothal.

Running time: 0:21:26

Last week we discussed "Where is Mayberry?" and there was a question asked in the chat room during the live recording that I didn't know off the top of my head. I looked up the answer in The Andy Griffith Show Book by Ken Beck & Jim Clark and share it with you early in the podcast.

We then answer some of the frequently asked questions (FAQs) that have been asked over the years related to Barney Fife/Don Knotts. As you might guess, that's where the name of the podcast came from and I want to thank Matt who goes by FarmerSamJones in the chat room for suggesting the episode title.

I hope you enjoy listening to these trivial trivialities and I would love to hear back from you with questions or comments.

There was so much information about the connections between Mayberry and The Ghost and Mr. Chicken (TGAMC) that it took two episodes of the podcast to cover it all and part 2 is one of the longest episodes ever of Two Chairs No Waiting to fit it all in.

There are about 19 TAGS/TGAMC connections that our crack research staff..okay it was just me but it sounds better to say it was a staff...was able to find.

I hope you'll enjoy audio clips from TGAMC and the loads of Mayberry fun in this episode of the podcast.

Set in Rachel Kansas, The Ghost and Mr. Chicken is one of my favorite Don Knotts movies. That could be because so many folks from Mayberry showed up in this, Mr. Knotts first movie after leaving The Andy Griffith Show.

The first is, of course, Don Knotts as Luther Heggs but lets start of with the behinds the scenes folk. The Ghost and Mr. Chicken was written by Jim Fritzell and Everett Greenbaum. Andy Griffith also helped re-write the script but is uncredited for his efforts.

That is only the beginning of the connections and fun trivia related to Mayberry and Don Knotts first movie following The Andy Griffith Show. Turns out there was so much that this will be the first of two episodes of Two Chairs No Waiting that we'll do on The Ghost and Mr. Chicken.
