Aunt Bee is regarded by most as Mayberry's leading cook. In fact, she once had her own TV program called "The Mayberry Chef." She makes a fabulous rib roast. And the meals she brings by to Andy and Barney - and the prisoners - at the courhouse can't be beat.
But desserts are her specialty. Opie likes her apple and butterscotch pecan pies best. Andy prefers her pumpkin pie a la' mode, and blueberry and gooseberry pies. And no one has ever been known to turn down a slice of her Nesselrode, banana creme, chocolate or pecan pies.
