Just about every weekend, you'll find Andy and Opie fishing. More than likely, Barney will be there, too. As a matter of fact, Andy and Barney almost never miss an Opening Day Sweepstakes for fishing season. They even won the event three years straight.
Andy prefers ham from Aunt Bee's sandwiches for his bait. Opie seems partial to worms. Other Mayberrians have special baits: Goober uses a banana peel with red yarn, and Howard Sprague has had success with potato salad. Gomer has good luck with Limburger cheese and onion.
