It must be a mark of the Fifes that they don't like to take medicine. (Who can forget Barney's reluctance to get his tetanus shot?) But if anybody can persuade Barney to take his medicine, it's Ellie Walker.
Not that Barney's not concerned about his health; he is. It's just that the fifes are all so sensitive.
