Two Chairs No Waiting

Two Chairs No Waiting

To celebrate the 100th episode of the podcast, we have “the man himself,” Andy Griffith, joining us in the form of his address to the crowds at Mayberry Days 2004.

2004 was the year that TV Land presented the Andy & Opie statue to the city of Mt. Airy.  It was Andy Griffith’s request to TV Land that made this occur and Mayberry fans everywhere are thankful to Andy for making that request.

Thank you to Doug Rogers for providing us with this outstanding audio of Andy’s comments.

Don’t forget to leave comments or ask questions on the TwoChairsNoWaiting.com website or using the contact information given in the podcast. We’d love to have you be a part of our next feedback episode. Call the Two Chairs No Waiting Hot-line at (888) 684-8415 and leave a voice mail to be part of the show.

Thanks, Allan, for sharing with us the recording of Andy speaking at the statue dedication. I am looking forward to hearing the rest of it in the next few podcasts. I like all the podcasts, but I especially enjoy those that feature clips of the TAGS stars themselves speaking. Congratulations on your 100th episode!

Hey Allan, your 100th episode was extra good! Good job on using the clip of Andy speaking in Mt. Airy to be the highlight of the show. And you sure did honor me by making my call a part of the show too. Here’s a big “Atta Boy Luther!” to you for celebrating your centennial episode. You’ve gotta be prouder than a bug with 100 legs.

What in the world can I say…this was absolutely wonderful ! When this ceremony took place I really wanted to go to Mt Airy. I figured that there would be so many peole there that I might not even get close enough to see or hear Andy so I did not make the trip. This recorded version had took me there and I could just see him up their talking as I listen to this. As a matter of fact, I have listened to this podcast twice. Great Job !
