The writers are Jack Elinson and Charles Stewart. It was directed by Don Weis. We meet the character Jim Lindsey for the first of two times. Jim, of course, is played by the wonderful James Best. Mr. Best appeared often at Mayberry related events over the years before his passing on April 6, 2015.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
