I have a special guest this week that many of you will have seen at Mayberry events held over the last many years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Christie McLendon has been performing as the Charlene Darling character for folks since 2010 at Mayberry events. She creates parody songs related to Mayberry as well as sings all of Charlene’s songs from The Andy Griffith Show<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While best known as Charlene, Christie has be a Fun Girl, Josephine Pike, and so many other Mayberry related characters during Mayberry events. She is so talented and can do pretty much any character needed to make a show successful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She’s also appeared as an extra on TV and movies and performs in plays in the Statesboro, GA area. Fans of The Andy Griffith Show<\/em> are lucky to have someone with this type talent helping to entertain them during events. I know you’re going to enjoy hearing from her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
