This is a big moment for this podcast. We’ve reached 800 episodes. I started the podcast 15 years and 10 months ago. The official start date would be October 11, 2008 and that is 827 weeks ago. That means that in the last almost 16 years, I’ve only missed publishing an episode 27 times. That comes out to just missing less that 2 episodes per year. I’d say that’s pretty consistent but I’d also say it shows how much I enjoy the topic of the podcast, The Andy Griffith Show<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I didn’t really have anything planned for this milestone event and mentioned that to my wonderful wife, Jan. Unknown to me, she reached out to a number of folks that listen to or watch Two Chairs<\/strong><\/em> and asked if they would be able to record something in celebration of episode 800. Twenty-three folks were able to respond with videos and another two with written congratulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am humbled by this response and and grateful that this podcast has created a community that has, over time, developed into true friendships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
