Who was “the whistler?” What am I talking about….well, there have been reports for years of folks saying “the guy who whistled the theme to The Andy Griffith Show came to my school when I was young.”\u00a0 The name most associated with that statement is Fred Lowery.\u00a0 We talk tonight about the who it was that actually whistled the theme.<\/p>\n
