My wife and I recently took a trip to Tampa, FL where we were able to meet up with a Mayberry fan named Ron Blankenship.\u00a0 Ron, who goes by Emmett in Mayberry circles, is one of those folks that belongs in Mayberry.\u00a0 Like so many on The Andy Griffith Show, Ron has a quality of caring for his friends that makes him right at home with the citizens of Mayberry.<\/p>\n

Ron chose the name Emmett to go by online because he’s a handyman himself.\u00a0 The name just kind’a worked because he, like Emmett, can fix most anything.\u00a0 I’m not sure about him being able to dance though…I didn’t think to ask him during the interview.<\/p>\n

Ron is a fan just like you and me so who better to talk to than a fellow fan in order to learn what makes The Andy Griffith Show so special.<\/p>\n
