When I started this podcast, the main reason was to release the interviews I had done with cast members of The Andy Griffith Show back in the late 1990’s.\u00a0 This interview with Jim Nabors is the last of those interviews.\u00a0 I had been keeping this one in my pocket for a special occasion and finally thought it was time.\u00a0 Jim Nabors performed “Back Home Again in Indiana” his past weekend for the final time at the Indianapolis 500 after having begun the tradition of him singing it back in 1972.\u00a0 That seems like a special occasion to me.<\/p>\n

This interview was done on September 5, 1998 at Governor’s Palace in Pigeon Forge, Tenn.\u00a0 My wife and I were able to arrange to go back stage before his performance to get this interview.\u00a0 It was a wonderful experience and he put us at ease right off the bat.<\/p>\n
