Andy Griffith passed way on July 3, 2012 and we covered his passing for four episodes in a row (196-199). Since then, I haven’t attempted to say more about Andy because there was so much said then by not only me but by the American people in general. Andy was loved by so many and it was shown by the outpouring of comments by the media as well as by “regular” folks like you and me.<\/p>\n

I ran across something recently that I either missed back in 2012 or had forgotten. It’s a story written by Joanne Ostrow, the Denver Post Television Critic, about how Andy’s passing impacted his daughter Dixie Nann Griffith. I e-mailed Joanne and she was kind enough to allow me to share her article with you here on the podcast.<\/p>\n
