In the last episode of Two Chairs listener Randy Bewer provided us with a jewel of Mayberry history related to Howard “Floyd” McNear and this week he’s done it again.<\/p>\n

Ever wonder how the mind of 10 year old Ronny Howard worked? Well thanks to the article Randy uncovered we get a glimpse into what was on his mind in January of 1965.<\/p>\n

Next up we hear from Paul Mulik related to the song sung by the gypsies who visited Mayberry in the color episode, “The Gypsies.” Turns out that the gypsy melody we heard in the February 1966 episode had it origins well before The Andy Griffith Show ever hit the air.<\/p>\n
