I’m always searching for new Mayberry related items you may not have seen that I can bring to you here on the show.\u00a0 Well, this week I was able to find a wonderful set of interviews with Keith “Johnny Paul” Thibodeaux<\/strong> that occurred at the 3rd Annual Mayberry Squad Car Rendezvous<\/em> in Bradford, OH on July 7, 1995.<\/p>\n

Keith played Opie’s friend “Johnny Paul” on The Andy Griffith Show<\/em> but you may also know him from another role he played on a different television classic.\u00a0 He was “Little Ricky” on I Love Lucy<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The interview covers both those highlights and more so sit back and enjoy. Part one of the interview was broadcast live by “Good Morning Mayberry” on Cincinnati’s WMOH 1450AM radio. The show was on every Saturday morning from 10am to noon back in the 1990’s.\u00a0 Host Mark “Golden” Richards and Dennis Hasty do an amazing job.\u00a0 Part two with Keith also has Richards and Hasty emceeing but all the questions come from the fans in attendance.<\/p>\n
