The response to our last series of Neal Brower interviewing Elinor Donahue was so well received that I wanted to share more with you from Neal. This time we join him at Mayberry Days 2004 and his interview with the Darling boy (the Original Dillards) and Charlene (Maggie Peterson).\u00a0 This is going to be a four part series with Professor Brower and The Darlings.<\/p>\n

This episode we get to know the men who make up the Darling family just a bit better by finding out their history as The Dillards before they arrived in Mayberry, NC.\u00a0 Doug, Rodney, Dean & Mitch tell stories about when they began to play music, how they started playing together and so much more.<\/p>\n

Funny stories, smiles, laughter…..that’s what you have to look forward to and that’s just in part 1.<\/p>\n
