Over the years, the Darling family have come to town sharing their omens, signs, and superstitions with the people of Mayberry.\u00a0 Barney even added a few of his own from his grandmother’s book Signs, Omens, Portents and Charms to Ward Off Bad Luck<\/em>.<\/p>\n

I felt that it was high time I shared some of this mountain wisdom with you to help you stay healthy, lucky and loved as well as to protect you from evil spirits & the weather.<\/p>\n

Some of these you’ll want to write down so you don’t forget them just in case<\/em> you run into some bad luck and need to ward it off.\u00a0\u00a0 You call it superstition….I call it caution.<\/p>\n
