The 5th Mayberry Meet-up<\/strong> was held this past weekend in Mt. Airy, NC. What is the Meet-up? It’s a group of Mayberry fans gathering together to have a relaxing weekend visit to Andy Griffith’s hometown to experience a slower pace. A visit to the Andy Griffith Museum<\/a> was one option of the many things to do during the day and that included a chance to meet Betty Lynn<\/strong>, Mayberry’s Thelma Lou, and get her autograph.<\/p>\n

About 70 people were part of the group who met on Friday and Saturday evenings for food, fellowship, and Mayberry fun. We shared Mayberry trivia, stories, laughter, and episodes of The Andy Griffith Show. All that was followed by a Mayberry Bible Study session on Sunday morning for those able to attend before heading home.<\/p>\n
