On last weeks episode we talked about where the “T” in Ernest T. Bass came from and found out the use of the initial was purposeful. We know that because the information came directly from the writer of the original episode with Howard Morris’ character of Ernest T making his appearance. The writers even stated specifically the initial was never used without the “T”. It was always like one name, “Ernest T.”<\/p>\n

That got me thinking and during an 8 plus hour trip from Alabama to North Carolina with Kenneth “Otis” Junkin this past weekend we talked about it….A LOT. We had 8 or more hours to kill so we had plenty of time to come up with a reason. You’ll hear it on this episode.<\/p>\n
