What is nostalgia? The dictionary defines it as “a sentimental or wistful yearning for the happiness felt in a former place, time, or situation.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The nostalgia part of this podcast was recorded by me back on August 26, 2017. It was recorded for use as part of “The Mayberry Effect<\/a>” film being produced by Chris Hudson. Chris came to Two Chairs headquarters (my house) and stayed overnight with us in order to interview me for the documentary. As part of that, he asked if I had an episode of Two Chairs that was about nostalgia. I told him I didn’t but, to quote Goober, “I’ll do it.” So I recorded what you’ll hear in this episode. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before we get to all that, we’ll hear from Randy Turner and this week\u2019s installment of This Week in Mayberry History by Randy Turner featuring Sheldon Golomb. Sheldon went by Sheldon Collins during his time on The Andy Griffith Show and had a successful career acting but you might be surprised by what he does today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
