Opryland in Nashville, TN presented a Mayberry Reunion back in 1991.\u00a0 In this episode we hear from some of the cast of The Andy Griffith Show that were present for a press conference held just before they began the reunion shows held over the course of a weekend.\u00a0 We’ll have more clips from this press conference in the coming episodes so be sure to stick around.<\/p>\n

The question being addressed in this show is, “Do you feel you were typecast because of your role on The Andy Griffith Show? Also, address any negatives or positives related to your role.”<\/p>\n

You’ll hear the following folks answering these questions in this order: Rodney “Darling” Dillard, George “Goober” Lindsey, Betty “Thelma Lou” Lynn, Maggie “Charlene” Peterson, Hal “Otis” Smith<\/strong>, and Jack “Rafe Hollister” Prince<\/strong>.\u00a0 George and Betty speak more than one time each but I’m sure you’ll recognize their voices as you listen.<\/p>\n
