The Andy Griffith Show<\/em> is my television show of all time. The 249 episodes were aired over eight seasons (1960-1968). It was created by Sheldon Leonard<\/strong> with help\/suggestions from Andy Griffith<\/strong>, who starred as Sheriff Andy Taylor. Sheriff Taylor is a widower with a son named Opie, played by Ron Howard<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Andy Griffith Show<\/em> never ranked lower than 7th among all television programs during its run. It was ranked #1 in its final season and one of only three shows to ever go out on top (I love Lucy<\/em> and Seinfeld <\/em>being the other two).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let’s see if we can capture some of that peaceful, easy feeling that The Andy Griffith Show<\/em> promises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
