We’re continuing to celebrate the 60 years of The Andy Griffith Show<\/strong><\/em> following the October 3rd anniversary. This week we’re going to talk about Nashville, TN and it’s contribution to keeping Mayberry alive for all these years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of that, we have to talk about the fellow who has kept The Andy Griffith Show<\/em> Rerun Watchers Club<\/strong> healthy and moving forward since the fall of 1979 when TAGS<\/em>RWC<\/strong> was established, Jim Clark. As “Presiding Goober Emeritus”, that ’emeritus’ part of his title had slipped by my notice until not too long ago, Jim has had a hand in pretty much every Mayberry endeavor since that humble beginning of TAGS<\/em>RWC<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
