Last week I talked about Frank E. Myers<\/strong> not being Mr. Schwamp, but who is Frank E. Myers? He was the production manager for The Andy Griffith Show<\/em><\/strong> and he was so much more. You might not know what a production manager does for a television series so you’ll learn that tonight as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the January 26, 1993 issue of The Bullet: Official Newsletter of The Andy Griffith Show Rerun<\/em> Watchers Club<\/strong> (TAGS<\/em>RWC<\/strong>) Jim Clark wrote a wonderful article about Mr. Myers. Thankfully we have Jim’s wonderful recollection of Frank Myers life and carrier to find out more about the man and his part in making “our home town” of Mayberry come alive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
