This episode we wrap up the panel discussion from the 2002 Mayberry in the Midwest <\/strong>held in New Castle, IN. The panel discussion the event held for the media with the cast members answering questions. If you didn’t listen to, or watch, last week for part one, I recommend you go back and do that. The cast members present were Howard “Ernest T.” Morris, Betty “Thelma Lou” Lynn, James “Jim Lindsey” Best, Maggie “Charlene” Peterson and all four Darling boys<\/strong>; Rodney & Doug Dillard, Dean Webb and Mitch Jayne.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I recently found an old 8mm video tape that was used when I recorded the panel. The audio quality isn’t the very best but it’s content you won’t find anywhere else. You also get a feel for how the cast members are in “real” life as they interact with those asking questions and with one another. You’ll hear them answer one of the most asked questions ever, “Who was Mr. Schwamp?<\/em>“<\/p>\n\n\n\n
