In researching for the podcast, I’m always looking for items that we Mayberry fans might enjoy. I ran across this story in the Showbiz Cheatsheet and knew it was something I’d never heard and thought it would be something you’d like, too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jack Dodson was only in the color episodes but he really did fit into the town of Mayberry. It was easy to believe that Howard Sprague was someone who grew up in Mayberry. He just fit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
