Andy was born June 1st, 1926, in Mount Airy, North Carolina. He was Married 3 times: Barbara Edwards,(1949 - 1972), Solica Cassuto,(1973 - 1981), and Cindi Knight (1983 - present). Andy has two children, Andy and Dixie, from his first marriage to Barbara Edwards.
