I know a lot of you enjoy trivia so every now and then we have a episode dedicated to Mayberry Trivia. We’ve had hard trivia, easy trivia and pretty much everything in between but we’ve never done true or false questions.
Thanks to author and Mayberry fan Scott Hopkins and his book Mayberry Trivia we have some fun true or false Mayberry trivia questions that will keep us smiling.
Bonus: This week’s installment of This Week in Mayberry History by Randy Turner featuring Rodney Dillard.

I’m always trying to find fun and interesting facts for you that you likely haven’t run across before. This week, I found an article published in the Denver Post weekly magazine titled “Empire.” The article was from 1979 and was written by Ralph Albi.
As best I was able to determine, Mr. Albi also created the quiz that went along with the article. The quiz is about Andy Griffith, not necessarily Andy Taylor so there may be a few questions that TAGS fans will have a hard time answering. Let’s see how we do.
Bonus: This week’s installment of This Week in Mayberry History by Randy Turner featuring information about Buddy Ebsen.

It’s been a while since we had a trivia episode and I know you all seem to enjoy them so let’s have another one.
This trivia is from the Who’s Been Messin’ Up the Bulletin Board? (WBMUTBB) Chapter member Paul Mulik (and Patreon patron). Believe it or not, this trivia was first posting on the WBMUTBB Digest back on April 28, 1995.
These are a bunch colorful quiz questions for y’all. The correct answer to each question is a color or combination of colors.

Everyone seems to enjoy the trivia episodes we’ve done in the past. With the new “Mayberry Trivia” book by Scott Hopkins out, I thought this would be a good chance to highlight some of the questions in his book. I e-mailed Scott to see if he had 10 or 20 questions that he wasn’t able to fit in the book that we could use on the podcast. He laughed and said,”If I had 10 or 20 more questions, they would be in the book.” ha ha…
Scott went of to give me permission to pick out questions from the book to make and episode so that’s what you’re going to be able to enjoy in this episode. 20 questions from “Mayberry Trivia: 1,500 Questions About a TV Classic” are coming your way. Grab a pencil and paper to keep score and let’s get started!

Wow….I just got back from the 2015 version of the Cruise to Mayberry and it was great fun. We did all kinds of fun Mayberry related things to include a very interesting interview with Ronnie Schell that we’ll be hearing here on the show in the coming weeks (stay tuned).
We also had some trivia during the cruise and since we hadn’t done any trivia here on the podcast since episode #331 I figured it was time for some more. So, here is the trivia questions and answers that were given on the Mayberry Cruise. See how you do and keep score. These are pretty hard questions.
The cruise champion, Pat Bullins, scored 18 of the 21 points. Mike Haviland had 17 and Noel Houze came in 3rd with 15. See how you did versus their scores.

Over the years we’ve had some fun playing Mayberry trivia here on the podcast. Some of the questions have been hard and some have been easy but this episode I wanted to have fun with you and the trivia questions.
All the answers to the questions will be “numbers.” That’s why I called the episode, “Mayberry by the Numbers.” I’m creative like that.
Sit back and put a bucket on your head so you can think better and let’s have fun with some Mayberry trivia.

The last “fun” trivia here on the podcast was 13 episodes back so it’s time for more!
This trivia isn’t “easy” but I think they are fun….challenging but fun.
These questions come from the 2013 Mayberry Cruise trivia contest. There were 22 questions in that contest and we covered the first 11 questions on episode 311 of Two Chairs No Waiting. Go back and give that episode a listen if you enjoy trivia.
Go get your thinking bucket and have some Mayberry fun coming up with the answers to these trivia questions.
