Two Chairs No Waiting 261: Thankful for Mayberry

Two Chairs No Waiting

Two Chairs No Waiting

Host: Allan Newsome
Running time: 0:17:56

As I was thinking about The Andy Griffith Show and what it’s meant to me over the years it came to me that I’ve never talked about what I’m thankful for related to Mayberry.

Of course we’re all thankful that Andy created the town of Mayberry for us all to visit each week but there’s so much more to give thanks for.   Let’s spend a few minutes talking about just some of the wonderful things that Mayberry has given us and brought into our lives.

What are you thankful for?  I’d love to hear the things you’re thankful for so call in or leave a comment.

I am very thankful for Mayberry. Many TV shows have come and gone and have their following, but Mayberry is not like any other…TAGS has left us something that will endure for generations representing a time and place that we all want to be a part of and it represents the kind of place and people we all appreciate. Yep, it makes me happy! Another thing to be thankful for everyday but especially on the list of things for Thanksgiving Day ! Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
