Plot Summary Ellie for Council:
Ellie runs for office, breaking the Mayberry tradition of what had been an all-male town council. Once again, Andy learns a lesson from Opie when he hears his own anti-woman opinions parroted by his son. Realizing the error of his ways, Andy speaks in favor of Ellie, rallying the citizenry to her side.

We’ll review “Odd Facts Known by Few” related to the episode Ellie for Council and see what we can learn.

Then we’ll play some Mayberry trivia from MeTV all about Ellie for Council.
