I’ll also give you some information about one of the other wonderful Mayberry ladies, Maggie “Charlene” Peterson that I know you’ll want to hear.

Thanks to TAGSRWC HQ in Nashville, Two Chairs No Waiting is able to share some of the content found in The eBullet but you are encouraged to go and read the entire newsletter for yourself. Better than that, subscribe so you’ll never miss an issue of Mayberry fun. You will not be disappointed.

This is the second and final part of a series featuring our Maggie Peterson. Maggie played Charlene Darling but she did so much more. In the last episode we heard about her life before Mayberry and this episode stars off right when her time on The Andy Griffith Show as about to begin.
Maggie grew up in Greeley, CO and moved to New York then out to California where she landed the role of Charlene Darling. She also did roles in movies, commercials and guest staring roles in series like “The Odd Couple,” “The Bill Dana Show,” “Gomer Pyle, USMC,” “Green Acers,” and “Mayberry, RFD.”
As a reminder, Maggie needs the help of fans & friends to pay health related expenses. This is a real opportunity to show Maggie how much she has meant to us all throughout the years by giving her the financial residuals that she has never received from her time on The Andy Griffith Show. You can give by going to http://bit.ly/maggiepeterson which is a shortcut to the GoFundMe.com site for Maggie..

This is the first part of a series featuring our Mayberry friend, Maggie Peterson. Maggie played Charlene Darling but she did so much more. In this episode we hear about her life before Mayberry.
She grew up in Greeley, CO and she and her brother had a band called “The JaDa Quartet.” They played at several places around Colorado and eventually made it to New York where they were booked on several television series as musical guests. Andy’s manager, Richard Link, helped the group get the bookings and life was great. Listen, or watch, to hear the whole story.
She needs our help and what an opportunity we have to show her an example of how much she has meant to us.
Bonus: This week’s installment of This Week in Mayberry History by Randy Turner featuring Bertha Edwards…err…Clara Johnson…err..Clara Edwards.

We had a great time at the Two Chairs No Waiting Meetup over at the George Lindsey UNA Film Festival this past weekend. Not only did we get to gather as Mayberry fans and visit with each other, we got to see the documentary film by Chris Hudson, The Mayberry Effect. Chris has been working for almost 4 years on this film and he has done the fans of The Andy Griffith Show proud with his efforts
I give you a full report during the show then we hear from Randy Turner followed by a special report on our wonderful Mayberry friend, Maggie Peterson. She needs our help and what an opportunity we have to show her an example of how much she has meant to us.
Bonus: This week’s installment of This Week in Mayberry History by Randy Turner featuring Scott McCartor.

This interview was recorded at Neal’s “Professor Brower’s Class” held during Mayberry Days 2004 in Mt. Airy, NC.
This week we start right off with the snoring scene from “Mountain Wedding” and their memories of filming the scene. It’s a great story to start off the episode and the fun doesn’t stop. Memories of Charlene in her wedding dress, “Meat!”, Briscoe courtin’ Aunt Bee, and so many more.
There’s one more part in this interview series and it’s something you will NOT want to miss. If you messed any of the other episodes of this series, be sure to go back and enjoy all the laughs.
Thank you to Neil and Pat Coleman for the video used in this episode.
