This episode will focus on trivia provided by listener/viewer of the podcast, Paul Mulik. Paul provides trivia for us here on Two Chairs quite often and we normally play a few questions each week. Since next week will be our “Spooky Time of the Year” episode and there won’t be any trivia, I thought we’d double down and do an entire group of trivia questions on this episode.
These likely won’t be all that easy so get out your thinking caps and lets see how many we can answer.
A listener wrote in with a question about “Central High” that I have an opinion on but don’t have a “for certain” answer. If you do, I’d love to hear from you.
We have a few voice messages to go through as well so this should be a fun episode.

2025 Mayberry Days just wrapped up the end of September. Mount Airy, N.C. became Mayberry for the week. I asked my listeners/viewers on last episode to call in and they responded!
I received more that ten voice messages to share with you so you are in for a treat. You’ll be able to hear from folks who actually attended Mayberry Days to hear what they thought of the festival. Maybe that will help you make up your mind to attend next year and/or to attend the other Mayberry events held throughout the year.
You can find out about the events by visiting iMayberry.com and going to the “Event Calendar” link. Don’t miss out on all the fun.
We’ll play a little trivia and as a bonus we’ll hear a little about the possibility of a second season of Mayberry Man: The Series! It’s BIG but it’s up to fans as to if it happens or not.

This episode we’re going to see some memories from the 1995 edition of Mayberry Days and specifically the Doug Dillard Show. I really believe you’ll enjoy it and it’ll give a flavor of what you might experience at a Mayberry event.
This is another episode that I would encourage folks to watch the video because the things we’ll be playing are clips and seeing them, I believe, would be better than hearing only.
We’ll wrap up with a few trivia questions just for fun!

This is Mayberry Days week in Mount Airy, North Carolina. Mount Airy is Andy Griffith’s hometown and this marks the 36th Annual Mayberry Days. Folks often ask what happens at the shows like Col. Tim’s during Mayberry Days so this episode we’ll experience some examples of the things that occur at Col. Tim’s.
This is an episode that I would encourage folks to watch the video because the things we’ll be playing are clips from different events and seeing them, I believe, would be better than hearing only.
We have Floyd joining Rodney Dillard and the Dillard Band in singing “House of the Rising Floyd,” Elizabeth MacRae who played Lou-Ann Poovie on Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C. will sing for us and be joined by Gary Crain (Gomer) for some fun, the first every performance of “Good ol’ 14A” at Col. Tim’s in 1994, and we’ll wrap up with Floyd singing “My Hometown” with Elvis.

While on a recent trip to meetup with Mayberry friends in Danville, Indiana a somewhat Mayberry event occurred. Much like in the episode “Barney and the Cave Rescue” something happened to Jan, my wife. Thankfully, she has agreed to be join us on the podcast and tell the story of her trauma and describe how she got out of the situation without finding a cave opening to crawl through.
We’ll also play some Mayberry trivia that we can have fun with and I believe you’ll enjoy.
