Welcome to Mayberry! Christmas has just past and I bet there are folks out there that got new computers, iPods, iPads, smart phones, and other devices that they can use to listen to this podcast.
I figured I’d take an episode to welcome them and to remind all the folks who listen about who I am and remind everyone you are not alone in your love of The Andy Griffith Show.
There are many websites and at least two other podcasts dedicated to Mayberry and I’m sure many of you thought you were alone in your love of The Andy Griffith Show. We’ll you most certainly are not alone.
There are thousands of fans out there just like you and I can say with authority that they are some of the best folks you’ll ever meet. I hope you’ll take time to get involved, meet fellow Mayberry fans and get to know them.
I’m certain that you will find real friends among the fans of The Andy Griffith Show. They are the salt of the earth and we invite you to sit a spell on the porch and get to know one another. You’ll be glad you did.

This was a good idea thinking of all of those who might have got a new electronic device for Christmas. Boy these folks that are new to the Podcast will never be the same! This Podcast is a vital link to TAGS fans, it is the heartbeat of our favorite show. So, with that said….I too, as a fan myself, would like to welcome all of those who might be tuning in for the first time, I am pretty sure you will all love it here…..warning! watching these podcast may be habit forming. Also, if you are new to the podcast, just as I am since not to long ago….you will enjoy going back and listening to all of the older podcast … all 167 of them and just like the show its self, the podcast are timeless and just as enjoyable as when they were originally produced by Allan.
