This is the final episode of our series of episodes listening to the memories of some of the Mayberry Tribute Artist. Those in the room while I was recording were David “The Mayberry Deputy” Browning, Kenneth “Otis” Junkin, Tim “Goober” Pettigrew, Jeff “Howard” Branch, Phil “Ernest T” Fox, Bob “Briscoe” Mundy, Michael “Gomer” Oliver, and myself.
This episode you hear from Tammy Branch who is the mom of former Opie Taylor tribute artist Jamie Sullivan. Tammy also appears as the character Millie Hutchins (and other characters) at Mayberry events keeping the Mayberry tradition alive and in the family.
Following the wrap up of the tribute artists memories, I’m going to play a special segment for you of the very first time I ever did the character “Floyd” in public. It wasn’t just in public…no…it was on a local early morning television show here in Huntsville, AL and it was more than 20 years ago.
I hope you enjoy these memories because it’s sure been fun sharing them with you.
“Mayberry” is alive and well in our hearts so spread the love.

This week we continue our series of episodes where we hear Mayberry Tribute Artist join me in sharing their memories. Recently David “The Mayberry Deputy” Browning, Kenneth “Otis” Junkin, Tim “Goober” Pettigrew, Jeff “Howard” Branch, Phil “Ernest T” Fox, Bob “Briscoe” Mundy, Michael “Gomer” Oliver, and myself sat down and we spend almost an hour recording our memories of performing as the characters we all love from The Andy Griffith Show. You’ll hear us talking about the actors from the show but also about the wonderful Mayberry fans we’ve met through the years.
I hope you enjoy these memories because they mean enough to the tribute artists that they wanted to share them with you. I also hope you see that “Mayberry” is alive and well in the hearts of many people throughout this country.

On October 11, 2008 the Two Chairs No Waiting Podcast was launched and with this episode we reach the 6 year and 300th episode milestone! It’s hard for me to imagine that you have joined me for 300 episodes of a show where we visit and talk about The Andy Griffith Show and we still find new things to discuss.
Because of The Andy Griffith Show and this podcast I have been able to meet and get to know you and so many other fans of our “home town.” You are the salt of this earth and it is because of you that I take time to find a topic for us to discuss each week. You are what makes Two Chairs happen and I thank you for it.
