Two Chairs No Waiting
Two Chairs No Waiting

Host: Allan Newsome
Running time: 0:29:11

We hear from Randy Turner each week with his installment of This Week in Mayberry History. Randy tells us all about various actors connected to The Andy Griffith Show and he does an amazing job digging up interesting information on them.

I thought I’ll do something similar but less in depth and more of an overview of some of the actors who played major roles on The Andy Griffith Show. So, here’s some things you may not remember about some of our favorite Mayberry citizens before they moved to town.

Bonus: This week’s installment of This Week in Mayberry History by Randy Turner featuring Ken Lynch.

TCNW 538: Mayberry Cool Facts

Two Chairs No Waiting
Two Chairs No Waiting

Host: Allan Newsome
Running time: 0:26:50

I’ve been researching and I believe I’ve run across a few things that fans of The Andy Griffith Show may not be aware of. I realize that you may have heard some of these things but hopefully you’re enough like me that you have forgotten what you once knew or just don’t mind being reminded of fun facts.

Whatever the case may be, let’s enjoy a few minutes in Mayberry talking about old friends. I think we can both enjoy that.

Bonus: This week’s installment of This Week in Mayberry History by Randy Turner featuring Don Haggerty.

TCNW 537: Picnic Time at Foley’s

Two Chairs No Waiting
Two Chairs No Waiting

Host: Allan Newsome
Running time: 0:23:29

Hang on to your notebook because I’m going to give you some information that you may want to write down and remember. We have a several notes from listeners that lead to me learning some things so I bet you’ll learn something too.

Do you know what a picnic is? I bet you think you do but you may not know why it was written on the signs at Foley’s and, before that, Crowley’s Market in Mayberry. After this episode of Two Chairs, you’ll be smarter than you were when the episode started. You may even get a certificate for learning just like Ernest T. Bass.

Bonus: This week’s installment of This Week in Mayberry History by Randy Turner featuring Richard Slattery.

TCNW 536: Flat Patrol Car

Two Chairs No Waiting
Two Chairs No Waiting

Host: Allan Newsome
Running time: 0:32:19

I have a few things to cover this week related to last weeks trivia episode. If you took the quiz, there are two questions that, according to Miss Crump, I have to give you credit for because I didn’t give the correct answer for each.

I got a question about the “Flat” patrol car see on the episode, “The Great Filling Station Robbery” and I give an answer that even Miss Crump will accept because I went back to the source, Bruce Bilson.

A voice mail or two help round things out so jump in where you can and hang on.

Bonus: This week’s installment of This Week in Mayberry History by Randy Turner featuring Keye Luke.

TCNW 535: Easy Mayberry Trivia

Two Chairs No Waiting
Two Chairs No Waiting

Host: Allan Newsome
Running time: 0:32:20

We have had several episode of Two Chairs devoted to Mayberry Trivia. Some have been harder than others and some so hard none of us could get the questions right.

These questions are designed to be easy enough that even casual fans will be able to get most of them correct with just a few fairly hard ones to challenge the die hard fans and make it interesting.

Bonus: This week’s installment of This Week in Mayberry History by Randy Turner featuring Jack Bannon.
