Some time has passed since Andy’s passing on Tuesday July 3, 2012 (I misspoke last week by saying Tuesday July 5th) but fans of Andy continue to express their love of the man who gave us Sheriff Andy Taylor, Ben Matlock, and so many other great memories.
We’ll look a bit in the history of Andy Griffith, his career, and more. We’ll also hear from more fans like you so sit back and lets honor the life of THE man of Mayberry, Andy Griffith.

We’re gonna be talking about Leonard Blush on the Two Chairs No Waiting podcast this week. If you don’t know, Leonard was the “Masked Singer” and is somewhat of a legend in Mayberry. You know…he sang the “Star-Spangled Banner” a the opening of the county insecticide convention.
What we’ll be talking about is a story that Two Chairs No Waiting listener John Foster made me aware of about a Pest Control company in Florida who’s owner says TAGS was his inspiration in creating his company 24 years ago. I’m sure that Leonard Blush had something to do with the whole thing.

It has been several weeks since we had an episode of feedback from the listeners so I thought it was time to focus on YOU. Sure, I have been mixing in comments and voice mail over several episodes but tonight we’ll hear from you.
I hope you liked the last couple of weeks episodes (#191 & 192) but I didn’t hear from anybody about those so no real feedback on them but we will hear from the writer of the “Floyd & Bert” episodes tonight. Both he and I would like to hear what you thought of the Mayberry Radio episodes because, well…they were a lot of work and we’re both wondering if y’all liked ’em or was it just us.
Thanks to everybody who called in and left a message.
