December 17, 2018 would have been George Lindsey’s 90th birthday so it is only fitting that we take an episode to say “Happy Birthday” to Goober himself. We start the episode with Randy Turner’s installment of This Week in Mayberry History featuring “George Lindsey” and then I’ll share a few memories of my own.

Ken Berry, who played Sam Jones on The Andy Griffith Show and Mayberry RFD, passed away on December 1, 2018. Jim Clark put together an amazing Special Edition of The eBullet celebrating Ken Berry’s life.
We’ll be remembering Ken Berry on this episode, with the help of Jim’s wonderful article. There are so many things about Ken Berry that I never knew and I hope this report will help you get to know him and the amazing life he lived.
