Two Chairs No Waiting
Hello again Mayberry!
On this episode, we get to visit with Ernest T. Bass himself, Howard Morris. Mr. Morris was very kind to me and I very much enjoyed getting to know him over the years. His son, David, has also been someone I’ve enjoyed getting to know over the years…but I digress. You’ll hear a little of his real personality “off camera” and out of character.
The interview was recorded on 26 June 1998 in Kingsport, TN. You can hear Howard interrupting my interview with Bernard Fox back in Episode 19 of Two Chairs if you want to hear a bit more of Howard.
Remember to tell folks about our show and don’t please don’t forget to leave comments or ask questions on the iMayberry.com/podcasts website or by using the contact information given in the podcast. We’d love to have you be a part of our next feedback episode.

Burke on Mayberry #53 = The Jinx
Running time: 12:15
Originally airing on January 29, 1962, Barney gets the whole town on guard when he declares Henry Bennett to be a jinx. No matter how Andy tries to convince the town otherwise, Bennett’s mere presence seems to consistently coincide with disaster. Let me pull back the curtains a little bit about the stories Floyd told last episode and make sure you know that each of them was a *true* story. They all really happened. The names were changed to protect the innocent but they were true none the less.
We have voice mail, e-mail and some of our listeners favorite quotes.
Thank you for listening. Tell your Mayberry friends about us and don’t forget to leave comments or ask questions on the iMayberry.com/podcasts website or by using the contact information given in the podcast. We’d love to have you be a part of our next feedback episode.
