The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that CBS is suing a YouTuber for posting the “public domain” episodes of The Andy Griffith Show.
There’s a fun Facebook Group called “The Gomer & Goober Pyle Comic Book Literary Guild” which is a chapter of TAGSRWC that send me a chapter t-shirt. Yes, I can be bribed to talk about your chapter. On October 11, 2008 the Two Chairs No Waiting Podcast was launched and with episode 397 the show reaches the 8 year milestone. Eight years matches the time that The Andy Griffith Show was on the air in it’s original run. It’s amazing that so many of you have joined me for the 397 episodes it took to reach this point.
Over the course of the podcast, if you listened to every episode, you have consumed 5 days, 19 hours, and 41 minutes of content related to The Andy Griffith Show. For perspective, The Andy Griffith Show itself is about 4 days and 12 minutes in total length.
Because of this podcast and The Andy Griffith Show I’ve been blessed to do so many things and to get to know so many friends. It’s because of you that I keep coming up with things related to Mayberry for us to discuss each week. You are what makes Two Chairs happen and I thank you!
