I am so thankful to Neal Brower for allowing me to provide these wonderful interviews to fans of The Andy Griffith Show. We heard a little from Morgan Brittany last week to get your appetite for more going so this week we hear part opne of at least three episodes with Morgan and Neal.
I think it’s amazing that her one appearance as Mary Alice Carter was memorable enough for her to be able to share so much fun information with us as fans.
Thanks go out to Neil and Pat Coleman for the recording used in this episode.

We visited recently with Bruce Bilson during his interview with Neal Brower and it was great. If you missed it, please go back and listen. As a bonus, I ran across a segment that Bruce did during Col Tim’s that same year. The information he gave was so good that I really wanted to make sure you had a chance to hear it. He talks about the schedule that was used to film The Andy Griffith Show and more.
We also will be hearing from Morgan Brittany who was also part of Col Tim’s at Mayberry Days 2011 as a teaser for the next few episodes where we’ll be joining Neal for his interview with her. Such goings on…such goings on. Who would have thought so much would be going on here in Mayberry.
Thanks again to Neil and Pat Coleman for the recording used in this episode.

The final episode of this four part series featuring Neal Brower’s interview with Bruce Bilson, assistant director of “The Andy Griffith Show” from 1960-63. Mr. Bilson’s knowledge about TAGS and how it was created makes this series of Two Chairs episodes some of the best ever. Mr. Bilson was there at the creation of the opening credits and for those first several years developing the “feel” of Mayberry.
I recommend watching the video version of this podcast because the clips shown as part of what Mr. Bilson tells us adds a lot to the experience.
This episode we hear about how directors need to know the script better than anyone, Frances Bavier, peeping tom, Barney and the Choir, Andy playing guitar, his thoughts on The Andy Griffith Show from a directors perspective, and more!
SPECIAL NOTE OF THANKS: Neil & Pat Coleman from the “Remembering Mayberry” chapter of TAGSRWC for providing the recording of Professor Brower’s Class from Mayberry Days 2011.
