There was recently an online chapter meeting of the “Who’s Been Messin’ Up the Bulletin Board (WBMUTBB)?” Chapter of The Andy Griffith Show Rerun Watchers Club. As part of that meeting, chapter members discussed what Don Knotts had meant to them as we drew close to the 4th anniversary of his passing away back on February 24, 2006.
In order of appearance you will hear from WBMUTBB? members “Aunt Bee (of IL)”, Mike Peacock, Jewell Kutzer, Ron “Emmett” Blankenship, MariEllen, and Vicki Pillow. These wonderful Mayberry fans share what many of us feel and enjoy as we watch the performances of Mr. Knotts.
We also have a voice mail and some e-mail listener feedback for you to enjoy.
Don’t forget to leave comments or ask questions on the iMayberry.com/podcasts/ website or using the contact information given in the podcast. We’d love to have you be part of our next feedback episode. Our voice mail number is (256) 513-9526 and you can leave a voice mail. (If you’d like to call toll-free, I only give that number as part of the podcast so you’ll have to listen to hear that number. )

What can one say? Don Knotts was one of the best ever, Mayberry would not have been the same without him. I sure did want to get a chance to see him in person. I thought that I would get to when he and Tim Conway were touring together. They were supposed to be in Charleston, SC but the event was cancelled due to Don’s failing health. Well, he sure left us with tons of memories and I think like many other fans, somehow we all knew him like a close friend. Is the video podcast of this show still accessable?
