I’ve been getting a good bit of listener comments and questions over the last several weeks so I thought I would try and run through some of them this week.
I don’t pretend to be an expert in all things Mayberry so I may not have the answer to all the questions. Hopefully you will be able to help me where I fall short on being able to provide what your fellow listeners are asking for. Feel free to drop me a voice mail to let us all hear the answers you can provide.
Answers or not…let’s have some Mayberry fun in tonight’s show.

Not long ago I was at the Mayberry Motor Inn in Mt Airy and spoke with Alma and her clerk while there. The lady working for Alma mentioned that Francis had somehting to do with a “rice program” at Duke University and that she moved to Siler City, NC so that she could be close to the University. I don’t know what the “rice program” was, but this was one of the things I was told.
