Two Chairs No Waiting
I hope you heard last weeks show and if you didn’t, go back and listen to episode 133 because tonight we complete our visit with Terry Eldredge (El) and Terry Smith (Smitty). These guys are two members of the 2011 Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music of America (SPBGMA) Instrumental Group of the Year, The Grascals. They are BIG Mayberry fans and I enjoyed spending time talking Mayberry with them.
We did get some talk in about The Grascals new album DANCE TIL YOUR STOCKINGS ARE HOT AND RAVELING (A Tribute to the Music of The Andy Griffith Show) but we were having too much fun talking Mayberry. What was to have been a 15 minute interview turned into 30 minutes and two episodes of this podcast.
I want to personally thank the guys for their time and for visiting with all of us here in our little corner of Mayberry. Now, they dig you so you folks be nice and dig them back.

I’m not a big fan of bluegrass, but as soon as Weaver’s has the Grascles Mayberry tribute album, I’m going to have Ben send me one. Thanks for all these great podcasts Floyd.
Thank you so much for the Grascals interview. I purchased the album off of iTunes as soon as I was able. I took that album, some selected Dillards tunes and Andy Griffith’s American Originals album and made an Andy Griffith playlist for my iPod. My daughter 7 and son 3, love it. That’s all they want to listen to. Favorites are Boy Giraffes are Selfish, Flop Eared Mule, Cindy, Dooley, and Stay All Night. The kids especially love the one’s they can dance to. Even our black lab Henry joins in and “sings” along to the Andy Griffith Show theme song. Just thought I’d share one way in which my family shares the Mayberry spirit. Thanks for all the work you do in that regard.

Good stuff…Looks Like I am going to have to get in touch with Ben Weaver’s and get a copy of the CD. Now, I know I am not the only one who has TAGS on tv even it I ain’t watching…..what better company to have…I must be normal…at least in Mayberry.
