We’ve had reports from “on the scene” and heard from Betty related to her birthday back on 29 August 2016 but on this episode we get to hear from some of the folks who traveled to Mt. Airy, NC to be part of “Thelma Lou’s” birthday celebration. These are fans, just like you and me, who we able to make there way to the Andy Griffith Museum and wait in line to get Betty’s autograph and to spend just few minutes in her company.
What would make someone travel to the town of Mt. Airy, NC just on the chance of spending time with someone they’ve admired for years? Why is was it important to them? Let’s ask them and see what answers we get about what brought them to be there in that line.

Hey, Allan! I left a voicemail about the Betty Lynn episode, part 1, that I didn’t hear on your most recent listener feedback episode. I even replayed it before I clicked submit so I thought for sure it worked. Just thought I would give you a heads up that for some reason it didn’t work for me.
