TCNW 645: 75 Years of Punched Noses

Two Chairs No Waiting
Two Chairs No Waiting

Host: Allan Newsome
Running time: 0:30:50

August 9, 1946. A day that will live in infamy in the town of Mayberry.

It was 75 years ago that “The Case of the Punch in the Nose” occurred between Floyd and Charley Foley. It may have been assault or perhaps it was just a misunderstanding. The paperwork will never tell us because the case is as open as it ever was.

This week’s installment of This Week in Mayberry History by Randy Turner featuring “Tammy Windsor.”
