This episode we get to hear back from your fellow listeners and see what’s on their minds.
We’ll hear comments about things like:
Why the keys were hung where they where, Public domain episodes, back on- Episode 171 that’s not Barney Kessel….it’s Howard Roberts.
Enjoyed seeing Andy and Don on Remembering Don Knotts #226.
There were African-Americans in Mayberry. And more. Give it a listen and call in with your comments! I love hearing from you.

What a wonderful, heart felt treat we have in store for this episode. Mayberry fan Jimmy Phillips recently wrote a wonderful post on Facebook called, “Mayberry, Why Do We Love It?” As soon as I had read Jimmy’s wonderful words, I contacted him to ask if I could use those words on Two Chairs. In the spirit of Mayberry, Jimmy quickly replied “You’re more than welcome to use it.”
Friends, what you’re about to hear will bring wonderful thoughts and memories to mind. Jimmy has a right to be mighty proud of himself.
Jimmy is a member of a Facebook group called “Mayberry After Midnight” and it’s a closed group but if you ask to join…we’ll let you in. No blackballs from the folks over there.
We also have a few voice mail messages to listen to and enjoy.

We haven’t had an “all” feedback episode in a while so I thought it was time to catchup by hearing from you.
Comments and question about my singing ability, Howard “Floyd” McNear, and how the podcast has made Mayberry even more “personal” is just some of what you can look forward to hearing on this episode.
Thank you to all of you that called or wrote in to the podcast!

The last few episodes we’ve been talking to folks who live in Andy Griffith’s home town of Mt. Airy, NC. Now, Mt. Airy isn’t Mayberry but it’s about as close as you can get. That said, I thought it would be fun to hear from a fellow fan of The Andy Griffith Show and the adventure of his first visit to “Mayberry.”
If you’ve never been to Mt. Airy, don’t over expect. The town doesn’t look exactly like the town of Mayberry but there is a Floyd’s barbershop and there are many other Mayberry things to see that will make the trip worth your visit.

I just got back from the 2012 edition of Mayberry Days held in Mt. Airy, NC and it was once again a wonderful experience. This was the 23rd Annual Mayberry Days and I can tell you that even a little rain during the parade did not dampen the spirits of those able to attend.
I’ll run through a quick report of the weekends activities so even if you weren’t able to be there, you’ll get a feel for what goes on at Mayberry Days. I hope you’ll be inspired to make it to next years Mayberry Days in Mt. Airy.
We also hear some feed back about episode 207: “Public Domain.”

It is time to catch up on the goings on around the world of Mayberry. The eBullet is the official newsletter of The Andy Griffith Show Rerun Watchers Club (TAGSRWC) and thanks to Jim Clark, the Presiding Goober of TAGSRWC, I am able to share some of the highlights of the June 2012 edition.

It has been several weeks since we had an episode of feedback from the listeners so I thought it was time to focus on YOU. Sure, I have been mixing in comments and voice mail over several episodes but tonight we’ll hear from you.
I hope you liked the last couple of weeks episodes (#191 & 192) but I didn’t hear from anybody about those so no real feedback on them but we will hear from the writer of the “Floyd & Bert” episodes tonight. Both he and I would like to hear what you thought of the Mayberry Radio episodes because, well…they were a lot of work and we’re both wondering if y’all liked ’em or was it just us.
Thanks to everybody who called in and left a message.
