Back in episode 203 of Two Chairs No Waiting we had a look at several appearances of Andy Griffith on the CBS game show, What’s My Line? On September 8, 2012 The Buffalo News published an opinion piece that focused on what happened behind the scenes. (Thanks to WBMUTBB Chapter member, Joe, for letting us know about this.)
That’s right, a person that appeared on that same episode with Andy wrote in to the paper with a wonderful story of meeting Andy and his time on What’s My Line? The fellow was a Pumpkin grower and was the first contestant on the 31 October 1965 episode of What’s My Line? His name is William “Bill” Price and he was 16 years old in 1965. I hope you’ll enjoy his story.
